Situated in the Grand Crossing neighborhood of Chicago’s South Side, the house on Blackstone is planned to be converted into a 2-unit (two-flat) to house seniors in the upper levels, and caregivers in the garden unit. The interior is configured to provide as much accessibility as possible in a home that is over 110 years old. This includes remodeled bathrooms, widened doors, and an accessible ramp rear entry.
